Hi! As a founder of a web based company and living in New Brunswick, Canada, I found that many local Atlantic Canadians were not aware of some of the great startups and technology coming out of the Maritimes and Newfoundland. I created meshEAST to promote and highlight Atlantic Canadian people, companies, conferences in technology and online marketing in web 2.0, e-learning and e-tourism. I also wanted to bring people together to build an online community with the hopes of creating our own Atlantic Canada barcamps or similar other events that focus on today’s changing online media.
